Duplex and Small Multifamily as a South Florida Investment
See two homes underway: a 2,010 sf duplex at 1524 Wingfield Street in Lake Worth Beach, and 12 units on SE Hawthorne Street in Stuart.
Duplex and small-multifamily buildings are a regular part of our South Florida work, not a side note. Two homes underway make the pattern concrete: a two-unit duplex at 1524 Wingfield Street in Lake Worth Beach, and a 12-unit townhouse-and-guesthouse project at 2910–2932 SE Hawthorne Street in Stuart, Golden Gate Phase 1.
Both are new construction. Both use the same finish language as our Stuart portfolio homes: impact windows and doors, stainless appliances, and tile flooring. What you can see today is product type, size, location, and construction stage.
1524 Wingfield Street — a duplex in Lake Worth Beach
Wingfield is a new duplex of 2,010 square feet on a generous lot at 1524 Wingfield Street, Lake Worth Beach, Florida 33460, in Palm Beach County. You get parking, expansive landscaping, automatic irrigation, sidewalks, and access from two different streets. The neighborhood puts you near parks, shopping, dining, schools, Downtown Lake Worth Beach, and the beach.
The building offers duplex income potential in Lake Worth Beach: a larger lot with dual street access and irrigation, the same finish package as our delivered Jefferson portfolio homes, minutes from parks, dining, downtown, and the beach, and new construction with no deferred maintenance at delivery. Target completion is October 2026. Interior finishes — tile, cabinetry, and painting — are where the house stands today on the seven-stage timeline.
Golden Gate Phase 1 — 12 units on SE Hawthorne Street
Hawthorne is a different scale: 12 two-story units from 3 double townhouses and 3 double guesthouses, totaling 14,604 square feet, at 2910–2932 SE Hawthorne Street in Stuart's Golden Gate neighborhood. The type is multifamily. The county is Martin. Each unit has stainless steel appliances, central A/C, a water heater, garage parking, full impact windows and doors, and tile flooring throughout, plus parking and landscaped green areas.
The site sits minutes from the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, and gyms. Target completion is February 2027. Site preparation and foundation are complete; structure and roof activities are in progress. As of 14 August 2026, that structure-and-roof package was underway across the townhouse and guesthouse buildings, at about 35 percent complete.
What these two projects have in common
One is two units in Palm Beach County; the other is twelve units in Martin County. Both are new construction with an impact envelope and a tile-and-stainless finish package. Both include parking and outdoor space. Both are still being built — Wingfield in interior finishes, Hawthorne in structure and roof — so you can see the same seven-stage timeline we use on a single-family home applied to small multifamily work.
If you are weighing a duplex or a small-multifamily site in South Florida, start with these two addresses. Check the current stage, then talk with us about scope.
